First published 2018. Updated: June 2019 Here’s a look at some commercial logos that came through the studio at Headline and my Logologologo workshop lately. They've all got a modern story to tell, but in very different ways... Full stories below…
Noon (an Image Consultancy)
As far as names for a logo goes, it doesn't get much better than 'noon'. It has only 4 letters, a single word, symmetry, geometric letters and a palindrome all in one! The brand colours represent 'traffic light decisions' (stop go, yes no), but "pastel-ised" for the market. Satellite tracking and monitoring by Track-Tech™ The hero letter ‘T’ above is for a client of Headline that's a satellite tracking company. Ever lost your shipping container? Me neither. But it happens to some people all the time. That little ‘blip’ in the T helps find them again. Like all modern logos, this one will have to fit plenty of profile pics, and may end up as an App icon one day too. Headline's Stop The Spit Sell-Off campaign Headline Creative won an award with this community campaign. The logo showed a feisty little dog and helped win Master Planning to protect the Gold Coast's world famous Spit. See more of the campaign here. Theatre logo proposal for Cosmonaut Developed for a local theatre group, this logo is a collaboration with Cosmonaut Creative Media. Actors will likely get the concept – the text has been run-through with highlighter like passages from a script. This proposal is still being chewed over, so stay tuned. Infinity (Lemniscate) The infinity logo is a concept for a digital consultancy that helps get Shopify cooking along for clients. It just keeps on keeping on!
